No that isn't correct. You will be entitled to LCWRA from the start of your UC claim.
It usually takes several weeks for ESA to send your details across, this is usually done in time for your first payment.

Yes I'm sure, those references refer to previous Government plans. Those plans never got past the constitution stage.
The new Government are releasing their plans in the Spring, with a speech tomorrow which may or may not give some details.
Any proposals have to go through a very long consultation then legislative process.
Everything will carry on with current rules for some time.
They only changed Winter Fuel Payment eligibility so quickly as it was a government perk, not enshrined in law like welfare benefits.

ok.
I have to change over before the 22nd of February so I hope that it does stay the same 🤞🏻0 -
I’m really worried. I can’t handle change at the best of times and it’s all so confusing and worrying. Thank you for your help

Kimmy is correct and because you're in the Support Group for ESA your UC will include the LCWRA element from the start of your claim. I would say it takes a few weeks at the most for ESA to send your details across to UC and for your claim to be updated.

Thank you

You have to be careful what you read "online". It is a cesspit of misinformation at the best of times. Please try not to anticipate bad news before any details are on the table.

I do really try to but I suffer with really bad anxiety and find it so hard. Then my depression gets worse too. It’s a vicious circle. I’ll just be so glad when it’s all done, I can’t take much more of this.
When I get muddled and confused which is more often than not I try to come on here as it’s always been useful
Thank you1
