Diamond Travelcard C
Hi,
I have a diamond travelcard C. I am able to navigate known routes on my own. I only need a companion on unknown routes.
Please can anyone confirm that this is correct as I've been challenged by the same bus driver twice in the past week, due to my travelling alone. - all others have been fine.
I would really appreciate your thoughts & advice.

Hi @Muggle, could I ask which local authority is the one you get the travelcard from?
There are a few different local authorities that have a Diamond Travelcard. The one from Southern Gloucestershire for instance only provides free travel to the companion of the person with the card. It does not provide free travel to the card holder themselves.
An excerpt from their information page: Using your Diamond Travelcard bus pass | BETA - South Gloucestershire Council
The companion bus pass will have a letter C on it and gives free bus travel to a companion travelling with the travelcard holder on journeys that start in South Gloucestershire.

Hi,
Thank you very much for replying to my post, & for all the information given.
I'm in Bath, so my council is Bath & North East Somerset (Banes)
After I'd posted I tried calling the council again & was told that I can travel independently, or with a companion.
Thank you again for your help !
