Support group permitted work and support worker ?

I am in the ESA support group and haven’t had an Assesment for over 10 years Around 10 years ago I was granted permitted work (self employed for a direct sales company) which ended around 5 years ago. I never informed dwp that I stopped. I have now been offered a few hours working for a friend from home, helping her with her business. The hours are just when I’m well enough so may not be consistent. I will be classed as self employed again.
Should I let dwp know or will my previous permitted work be sufficient? If I need to inform them, it states The work has to be supervised by a professional support worker. And then mentions the form needs to be completed by A professional support worker too?
can anyone help please?
Thanks in advance

You need to inform them that you intend to do this work. At the same time you need to inform them that your first self employment ended.
You can ignore the supported/supervised permitted work part because it doesn’t have to be either of those.
