I'm sorry to hear your story.
I think most of us have had a very tough life, Even people like myself who refuse to worry on principal have suffered massively.
Firstly Your finances can't change in march, that's a launch of a 3 month consultation in which we should all respond or get someone to respond on our behalfs.
secondly From the conditions and impact you've mentioned they'd have a very hard time justifying trying to remove your money, you are protected by laws and the human rights act also.
take care of yourself, we have your back.

I just hope you’re right Nightcity. Kind words, thank you

the avatar was given to me by scope! I don’t have the means to have a fancier one.
I’m just one of many disabled people having a crappy time.
I’ve just read the governments governments new proposals of what they might be planning on doing in March 2025. They try to put a positive spin on things, a bit like putting a **** in a frock to make it look good….at the end of the day it is still faecal in nature. Everything still seems up in the air. I tried to sign up for the sessions online where disabled people have a say online…they’ve even made that difficult.0 -
I just assumed you were a Tolkien fan like me. One of my favourite books is The Silmarillion.

I love JR Tolkien too. I used to work near the Eagle and child pub in Oxford many years ago and they had loads of his original drawings on the wall and he was a regular there.

I’ve heard of that book…it sounds pretty interesting! I should give it a go…it’s nice to chat to a fellow Scot!

A fellow Scot who hasn't had any sleep! I only meant to look on here for half an hour, and now look at the time.
Do you live in Oxford then? I think I have only been in Oxfordshire once, when I had to go to Brize Norton.

As it's a positivity thread I can't let this chance for a bad joke slip by.
my friend stayed over recently, and started quoting Lord of the rings in the night, I told her You've been Tolkien in your sleep.

I’m like a vampire, I’ve got bad insomnia due to fibromyalgia and a messed up body clock. I live near Glasgow and have done for a few years now. I was living in Australia for 17 years before that! It was a total culture shock coming back here! I’m glad I did came back but I must say the weather sucks!

"The weather sucks". Just like vampires then…

It’s funny, there’s a lot of relationship between Scots and Irish people . I think the cultures have a lot of common traits and both posses a great love of a good party for any reason!
