Directline query
Hello. Had a non fault accident this week after someone ran into my motability vehicle this week. I'm rather unimpressed with Directlines handling of the situation.
In the past local to me garages have always repaired motability vehicles. I live in a fairly large town with lots of major garages. Directline have said my vehicle will be getting repaired in a city some 45 miles away. Is this normal ? It's fairly standard wing replacing and a new grille needed. Surely they must have someone closer. And who should pay for the fuel for this 90 mile trip. The car that ran into me was also motability so same insurer. ..
Another niggle was the courtesy car which is a citreon m3 which I can't fit my wheelchair into without lowering back seats I can't lower the seats if I'm on my own. When I called Motability they told me to take it up with Directline who called the hire car firm who basically said tough luck its all they have.
