Hi, my name is racquel72! Will I get in trouble on UC review for paying debts to friends?

I HAVE RECENTLY RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM MY UNIVERSAL CREDIT LWRCA REVIEWING MY CLAIM. I HAVE GIVEN MY FOUR MONTHS OF BANK STATEMENT. OM WHICH I HAD TO TRANSFER SOME TO SOME SORTS OF FRIENDS. PAYING MY DEBTS TO THEM. I OWE THEM MONEY TO SPEND IT FOR MY GAMBLING ON LINE AND BY GOING TO CASINO SLOTS MACHINE. DO YOU THINK I AM GONNA GET IN TROUBLE?

If you've never had capital (savings) of more than £6,000 on the last day of each assessment period then you'll be fine.

Hi @racquel72, welcome to the community. These checks are usually quite straightforward, but it's important to be honest with them if they ask about any of your transactions.
They will ask some questions about your bank statements, so just answer as clearly and honestly as you can. As long as you are staying under the limits for savings and can explain your spending if asked, it should all be okay. Hope your review isn't too stressful.
