carers allowance

Hi Guys
I am currently on PIP and my son is on lowest rate DLA, we both need care and I am sure that he isnt entitled on the lower rate. I am in the stages of appealing against his decision but i know this can take forever.
in the meantime, i am in desparate need of help around the house and the extra washing and cleaning needed to help my son. He has chronic eczema and allergies and requires daily bed washing cleaning ect. I have arthritis in my knees and mobility issues too. So we both need help
my mother and daughter help me around the house and with my son, i undersstand only one of them can claim the allowance but can they share the caring between them as either of them can commit to a whole 35 hours a week but together they exceed it.
i hope i have explained well
many thanks
