They really do complicate it! But if I feel well enough I want to return to work, makes no sense if you return it basically goes against you. Even though I'm chronically unwell I don't want to lose my job and I've already had considerable amount of time off so I can't stay off until this appointment if I feel well to return.

There's many people that are found to have LCWRA and work, just because you work it doesn't mean you can't be found to have this.

Thanks Poppy, mentally & psychically I'm just not in the right place to be dealing with this but I will have to now. Do they look at all the conditions you have or just what you're currently signed off for? Thank you

Also do they consider your PIP Assessment when they do the WCA? I know they're two different assessments but does the PIP Assessment come into it?

PIP and LCWRA are completely different and being entitled to one, doesn't automatically entitle you to the other.

For the WCA they look at your ability to any type of work, not just the job you currently do. It's about the work you can do, not the work you can't do.

Yeah that makes sense! Will they look at any evidence you gave for PIP? Also do they assess you on all your conditions and how they affect you working or just what's on your fit note? Thank you :)

You will need to send any relevant evidence you have with the form to support your claim. When you fill out the form you will need to make sure you include all the details about how your conditions affect you, not just what's mentioned on the fit notes. A fit note isn't proof you have limited capability for work.

Sorry to bother you again Poppy one more question please. If I return to work and my GP won't provide fit notes if I return to work, is it right I can't get LCWRA award anyway? Can I even get LCW without a fit note?Thank you so much

The WCA can continue without a fit note but if there's gaps and you're found to have LCWRA then it will affect when the extra money is paid from.

Hi Poppy, what I wanted to know is if you don't upload anymore fit notes, when you have the WCA Assessment, LCW or LCWRA still an option to award or is it they have to award you Fit to work as you have uploaded no more fit notes?

I already answered that question in my previous comment. You can still be awarded both. See my previous comment for the additional information about the LCWRA element, if you're awarded this.

Sorry Poppy I've been filling out the form which has really stressed me then was told I can't get anything but WCA anyway without any more fit notes so I panicked. You are so helpful I know it must be frustrating answering everyone. Thank you!

Sorry anything but 'fit to work' I meant! Thank you :)

No problem. As you've already been referred for the WCA it won't just stop, unless you don't return the form. Even then if you have a vulnerable marker on your file, your WCA can even continue without returning the form.

It's ok, I'm used to answering all the questions.

I'm so glad you told me that because I wouldn't of bothered and I have so many problems there's no way I'm fit for work so at least now I can send my information. Thank you :)

Morning Poppy, sorry to bother you again! I feel I meet a few of the Descriptors for If any of the below descriptors apply, you should automatically be put in the support group (ESA) or Limited capability for work-related activity group (Universal Credit).

Is it worth mentioning on the form under relevant headings how I feel I meet some of these descriptions? Thank you
