Was the November review completed, with a telephone interview after you submitted the bank statements?

hi, I initially had a telephone call with someone who asked for my statements and confirmation of identification, i explained that my driving licence had lapsed as I hadn’t been driving for a while with my shoulder and neck problems from my rheumatoid arthritis and my passport had expired during lockdown so i hadn’t renewed it as no plan for travel. She said that a DWP person would call on me personally to confirm identity as I am really suffering with my mental health and have not left home for several months now. I then had another person call me who said that I needed to prove identity and they would not be visiting. I provided a authorisation from DVLA to validate my expired license which they said was unacceptable and stopped my benefits for breach of conditions. Eventually after 2 weeks or so they accepted a photo of my licence next to my face and the dvla code. My claim was reopened and I assumed finalised as my journal message said I had complied then last week the second review was requested

The UC reviews have several stages.

The first stage is a phone call where they will explain the process, and answer any questions you have.

Occasionally this is just a Journal message.

They will then ask for the information that they want.

The standard request from them is ID & four months worth of bank statements for all bank accounts.

After you submit the information they are looking for, you will have a telephone interview.

You'll be asked a series of scripted questions about other potential sources of money, ISA's, PayPal, property, premium bonds etc.

Then questions about some of your banking transactions, which might not appear to make any sense (mine didn't).

I myself (as capital was over £6k on paper) was then asked to submit individual bank statement pages showing my Cost of Living payments.

I've seen others who were asked for PayPal account statements after the call.

Then I had a journal message saying my review was complete and my payments were correct.

It looks to me like this is the first check which hasn't yet been completed, not a second separate one.

thank you I appreciate your reply this was not explained by the person who called me previously and if I am honest I didn’t get a good feeling from her almost that she wanted to find something to stop my benefits
