New to carers allowance...lump sum and deductions

Hi all,
I started recieving Carers allowance and im totally confused with how the payments are worked out and how much i will get every month.
So in january this year i started a claim for carers allowance, it was accepted and i revieved a payment of £591 on the 20th of January, this is what the benefit calculator said i was entitled to every month. Last week i recieved a lump sum of £1212 which i now know was back dated from last November (A letter explaining this arrived 3 days after i got the payment) the letter also explained that i would be getting £81.90 a week carers allowance.
I checked my universal credit account online today on the payment section and it said i was only going to get £236.80 on the 20th of this month due to £354 of my standard allowance being taken away
Is this because of the lump sum they gave me or is this the amount i will recieve every month now ( along with the £81.90 a week carers allowance )
I just need to know exactly what i will be getting every month so i can budget for it. Nothing has been explained to me exactly how it works and what i will be getting every month apart from what the benefit calculator told me
Im sorry if youve had this question before
Many thanks

I forgot to say that the person i care for was awarded AA in November last year and thats why i was sent a back payment.

Carers Allowance is deducted in full from your UC award. So your latest UC payment is what you will receive every month.
The deduction of £354 looks more than you receive (£81.50 per week), this is because UC is a monthly benefit and CA is weekly, and there are 4.3 weeks in a month.
To convert a weekly benefit to monthly you multiply by 52 then divide by 12.
