Sofa

Hi all can anybody advise me please so I purchased a sofa from the online sofa shop reivews are not to bad my sofa came Thursday and it smells i can't put my finger on the smell other than it smells chemically iv phoned them today because I had fault with a cushion they sending replacement cushion out and said the smell is from fire stuff they spray iv had sofa since Thursday it still smells there saying to wait 2 more weeks and it will go surleh this isn't right

Sorry I have never known a new sofa to smell like that.
If you're not happy with it can you get a refund?

It's quite possible to have a residual odour from the factory, especially if the sofa has been chemically treated and if it left the factory and came to you quite quickly.
Give it a couple of weeks as they say.

Hi @ella1992, that does sound unpleasant. If you're really not happy with it you should be entitled to send it back, but hopefully the smell goes away after a bit of time.
