Spending Pip
hi everyone I get high rate pip for both and I need to use it to do something that’ll help my MH .
I want to learn how to draw and paint art , I think it might help calm my mind and anxiety. I found a private art teacher who charges £40ph and I’d like to go twice a week so would cost me £80 a week , do you think this would be ok with dwp ? It would help get me out the house more and have a hobby that would benefit my MH conditions .

You can spend your PIP as you wish. The DWP won't ask how you spend this money. If you feel that it would help your MH I would give it try.

thanks for replying Lauren , I’ve always wanted to be able to paint on massive canvas , I think it’ll be a way to really express myself and might help me when I get distressed .
