Am I overreacting?
Am I overreacting? I work 30 hours over 4 days. I have a Friday as my non work day and then the weekend. I need the 3 days to give me time to rest and recover. A few weeks ago there was an online meeting with my team (there are 8 of us). A question was raised about "part-timers" and if they should be entitled to the same time for learning and work catch-up (during work hours) as those who work full-time (35 hours). It was also intimated that they shouldn't be because they don't work as hard as full-timers. There are 2 in my team who are part-time (less than 35 hours) and we are both disabled. I felt personally attacked (as did the other person) and was really angry. I felt it was very abelist and discriminatory against disability. We don't have days off to go on jollies or anything. We have the days off because of our disability. My boss was part of the meeting and can't understand why I am so angry. So...…am I overreacting?
