Thank You Kimmy. I have put the monthly amount so far. And will keep it like that.

Does the To Do for the annual rent increase appear automatically?

    Thanks for all your help.

What happens after I fill in the form and press "go"?

Will I have to upload any documents to support my application?

I am hoping my ID can be done online or by phone? And Also my claimant commitment - are these usually done online for the Support Group? I am not well enough to travel to a JC.

Sorry for all my questions - just need A LOT of reassurance that it's going to go ok.

You will get a message in the journal telling you what to do next.

Most likely saying you'll get a phone call or need to visit the Job Centre. At that point you can respond in the journal to explain any adjustments you need.

Ok, so i can ask for telephone ID if online doesn't work then. Thank you for replying.

Will i need to upload any documents to support my migration (apart from ID stuff)? I really struggle doing that sort of thing so it's stressing me at the mo.

Yes, it's called a biographical check when done over the phone.

There shouldn't be anything to upload in your case.

    Hi again.

Sorry I'm back. As detailed in one of earlier posts, quoted above, I am very confused about what date to put that I moved into this property.

Any advice would be greatly received, as I am getting conflicting advice at the mo. I am wondering whether to be very very brave and try calling the official DWP UC Migration Notice Helpline to ask them what to do? Has anyone phoned them and if so were they helpful at all?

    PPlease Help, v v stressed.

I agree with Citizens Advice, you should put the date you moved into the property.

Thank you Kimmy. So do I, cos it will tally with the DWP records of when my contact address actually changed, even though the housing benefit claim and tenancy for this property was several months earlier. Sorry, I'm SO stressed about it all.

Any other advice/input from others would be welcome.

    Update…

Citizens Advice say to pop a note in my Journal when I'm able explaining why I didn't move in straight after signing my tenancy. They also say...

"I have checked and yes, if you didn't move in until 2013, then that's the date I would put down. Though either of those dates would have been fine as, as you are a social housing tenant, the DWP check the date you move in and how much rent you pay with the HA. That means regardless of what you put down and if incorrect date or figure, it will be corrected at no delay to the claim. During telephone claim calls clients often can't remember what date they move in if it was years ago or may not know the rental figure as Housing benefit has covered it for years. Each time the DWP reassures the client that they will check with their local council/HA, so I know it is not something that will cause you bother."
