Hi, my name is lankyess! Is carer's allowance paid the same way as carer's element?

Just wandering if anyone can tell me if carers allowance is paid the same way that carers element is paid, like Into the same account? How long after the carers element payment will you receive the first carers allowance payment... Can anyone let me know please

    Carers Allowance is a separate benefit to UC, paid separately.

    Are you aware there is no financial gain to claiming Carers Allowance? As it will be deducted in full from your UC award.
