DVLA medical reapply question

Hi, I know I've posted I believe 2 posts about this but I'm just really confused and want to make sure I do this properly. I hope it's no trouble at all.
I had my provisional revoked in January (based on GP report in December) because of mental illness instability for 3 months. I saw on the government website that I can reapply 8 weeks before that period ends. Is this true? My GP said I was perfectly fine in learning to drive and having my provisional so they have confidence in that but it was just the "stable and well" question that got that taken away from me. I have confidence in being stable for the future though as I'm seeing a psychiatrist regularly and on medication that is working for me, engaged in treatment so that's why I want to reapply asap.
I assume they'll do the same as last time, send a report to my GP for them to fill out.

Hi @calflye bless you, I can appreciate you wanting additional confirmation as it's a big thing learning to drive. I haven't been through this myself, but would imagine it's the same process. Have you given your GP the heads up that your looking to re-apply?
I wish you all the best with your application 🙂
Best wishes,

@Holly_Scope The GP are aware and fully support me with it, they see me as safe to drive. Just nervous about losing the provisional again!

It's great you've got your support - that's really promising. Please let us know how you get in if you're happy to. 💛
