Pip Tribunal

Hi guys back again.
Hoping someone can help or any advise will try to make as short and sweet as possible.
Applied to pip as I’m partially sighted due to a condition called Sarcoidosis diagnosed age 9. 2 cataract surgeries by 21 now detached retina unresolved frequent flair ups.
Had major hair loss with scarring in 2021, felt unwell 2022 diagnose with Lupus 2023. September of 2023 make change of circumstances with PIP. I lose my pip altogether. At this point I’m on morphine patches, back and forth from a&e for my eyes along with pending surgery.
I get a pip assessment in January 2024 they refuse claim. April 2024 mandatory reconsideration I have now received a letter back stating that they are standing firm on their decision and will not be taking into account worsening condition after Jan 2024 despite my change being from 2023.
Please not my last award was won via tribunal and they superseded the decision to have it removed from me despite judge stating he did not see my condition improving.
I have a zoom on the 7/04/25 and I am honestly so deflated and want to give up…

Hello naomi05
When you lost your PIP claim after your Change of Circumstance did your do a Mandatory reconsideration or make a new claim? My advice would be to write a detailed letter on how your condition affectted you when you made the claim and include the descision letter you had at your last appeal.
You can get more information on the activities and how to fill in a PIP form here
If you still need advice then you can search for your local welfare rights orgonisation hereI hope this has been of assistance.
