Morrisons launches new 10 per cent discount for millions of shoppers
Morrisons has announced it will be offering millions of Brits discounts worth up to £550 a year through a new money-saving scheme. The supermarket giant will offer 10 per cent discounts to disabled customers who spend more than £25 on their groceries online.
This new offer is the result of a new partnership between Morrisons and the discount platform Purpl. Purpl was created in July 2024 by Georgina Colman, who lives with multiple sclerosis and ADHD. She created the platform to help ease the additional living costs associated with disabilities.
Disability support charity Scope estimates that on average, disabled households need an additional £1,010 a month, equivalent to £12,120 annually, to have the same standard of living as non-disabled households.
