I did enjoy it, can get lonely at times even with a dog but my partner died four years ago and navigating life without them in places you enjoyed can be tricky at times.

But it's either go out or stay in crying which they wouldn't want me to do.

Hi @Rosie27 I am so sorry for your loss. It is better that you go out and I sure they would want you too.

It can take a long time to get over losing someone if you ever really do. There is no time scale on grieving.

    Please take care of yourself.

There are times I wish I had a friend to support me, other times I need to deal with it myself

A warm welcome to the community @Rosie27!

What sort of dog do you have? I have a bichon and I find that some days having a dog can definitely make the day a little bit easier

    Hi

I have a cavapoo he is 2yrs old.

    I got him @ 2 months old.

I would not have got through without him.

I lost my best friend since we met at school gates to COVID Feb 21. June that year lost my partner to lupus.

Later that year lost my aunty, cousin and another friend.

For some reason god left me all alone .....

    So yes it's very difficult

My dog is my very best friend who keeps me fighting in

Aw cavapoos are absolutely adorable @Rosie27!

I am so sorry for your losses, it sounds like you have been dealt a very cruel and harsh hand.

It is lovely to hear about your dog, he sounds wonderful. They can truly be such blessings and a lifeline.

Is there anything else you like to do for fun?

It sounds like you have lots of fun things you like to do @Rosie27

I'm very partial to going out for a coffee and a bit of shopping as well😀

What sort of books do you like to read? Do you have any good recommendations?

It sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday, it definitely makes you feel a bit better when the sun is out! Do you have any nice weekend plans?

I may not be great at it, but I do like a nice gentle walk with the dogs. It really is good for the soul. 😊

No nothing for weekend. Hard to make new friends even if was ready

I would love a friend to share outings but if it doesn't happen nothing can do

The weather raining here today but supposed to b good at weekend.

At the moment all the days are the same no difference in a weekend as no friends family as such

    Enjoy your day
