Pip review time scale

Hi I've had my pip review form to fill in which was September 2024 they sent a message in October 2024 saying they had my form, I'm just wondering how long I'm to be waiting for a decision does anyone know?

Reviews are taking a considerable amount of time, 8,12 months even longer possibly.

If my pip is due to end September 2025 and they still haven't reviewed my claim due to the long waiting back log will it stop in September or carry on until there decision?

Hi,
I thought it would contribute my own 10 cents here.
My PIP was valid until August 2025, so I was shocked in Jan 2024 when they asked me to review again.
I did what I was told (I find this whole process very stressful to keep trying to prove your circumstances and to explain to them that your condition isn't improving nor will it ever) I sent the review application in at the end of Jan 2024, I received the confirmation text from them to say they had received it and then nothing.
Just crickets.
I finally heard from them THIS Jan 2025 confirming everything and that nothing will be changing.
It's a long wait, so you will have to be patient with them.
Hope that helps a bit.

If they haven't got to your claim, a letter will be sent 35 days before your award is due to end. They will extend your end date by one year.

I’m still awaiting my review which is due up in June , told it was an average of 36 weeks from application being received however they are processing new claims faster so people who are due money but not receiving can get money .

How long after sending you pips review form off do they sent a confirmation txt ?
Sent mine off recently, review came 8 months before it was due.
I feel very anxious especially will all these changes coming whatever they may be, doesn't sound good for the disabled.

like others I’m stressing out about my pip review.
my award finishes on 5th May. I sent all my info to them last October.
they text they had received everything in October, then Boxing Day and then again a couple of weeks ago.
I really hope to carry on with my level of enhanced in both areas. I’m really scared they are going to start looking at information I sent in a different way to many years before due to what’s being said in politics at the moment.
I feel something may be happening now looking at some previous comments. I’m scared every time the letter box goes. But looking at other comments maybe I will get a text first.
I hope everyone gets what you need. I don’t know if I have the energy or strength for a MR or appeal.1
