New style esa new universal credit claim

in Universal Credit (UC)

Can anyone help. I am.in the process of managed migration and have completed online claim with Welfare rights officer, completed biographical phone call and to do list states completed on journal, including claimant commitments.

However, I receiveda letter on Friday stating my contribution based esa will continue and I will be provided with a Work Coach have to agree to claimant commitments, attend appointments etc.

So whilst ringing them speaking to a man called Ryan, he said it was an error about a work coach and he could seeI had already agreed to claimant commitments. During this call an 0800 number was ringing, I said I would answer but the call had already gone off. The man from esa put me through to another department who gave another number to ring and then another and was cut off

TThe Call i missed whilst speaking to the man from esa was from a lady called Jean who said she would call back.

I then rang another number I had been given and whilst speaking to this lady the 0800 number rang again, but again didn't leave it ringing long enough for me to answer and then the call cut off yet again. It was 5pm.by this time so too late to ring anyone else.

I have e put a long entry on my journal explaining all this and that I should not ne subjected to phone valls, work coaches etcas I am in the support group.

Also I am going on a remote mental health well being retreat today in Wales so will have no reception to normal calls but will be able to access my journal online through wi fi.

Any advice would be much appreciated

    You will need to complete the phone appointment, it's a legal formality that has to be done.

    This is for NS ESA and unrelated to the claimant commitments you have accepted for UC.

    Thank you for letting me know. But tbe problem is I did not know I was going to receive another call.

    I suffer with severe mental health, and am going to Wales today to stay with a friend where there is no reception until Saturday. If I tell them.this on the journal will they understand this and call me next week when I am back
