Was wondering if anyone is aware of any help I can get for help with clothing, I am currently receiving ESA and PIP. I am in desperate need of clothing , issue I have is I am severly obese and need to buy clothes from out size shops and they do not come cheap unfortunately. Any advice would be helpful if if it turns out to be a No from benefits. In that case maybe someone may know where I can get help from. Bless you, Andy

Hi, I also wear larger than average size, there's lots of us about. I buy from a company that sell clearance stock for some of the big online catalogue's, up to size 32 clothes women's, also some men's and even kids clothing, at reasonable prices. The company is called Kaleidoscope.co.uk hope this helps.

There's an online company called Jacamo that sell bigger mens clothing.

Hi @Andy4inaRow, welcome to the community. If you haven't already looked into a budgeting loan through your benefits, that might be an option to explore.

I'm not sure there are any other grants available for clothing, but could you perhaps look into second hand clothes? Places like eBay and Vinted might have cheaper alternatives than buying things first hand. Looks like the other members have made some suggestions too, so I hope some of those are helpful 😊

I have used a couple of different large clothing stores, every time I have visited the website, they had sales on and have always purchased discounted stuff only, sorry I cannot be much more help then that, Vinted might be worth looking at for second hand clothing.

Hey Andy, I’ve run into similar challenges with finding affordable {content removed}, especially when specific sizes are limited or only sold at specialty stores. It’s tough when the prices are higher and options are few. You might want to look into local charities or donation drives that offer clothing support—they sometimes include plus-size or kids’ items too. Hoping you find the help you need soon!
