Strange PIP award letter

Hello everyone,
My PIP has recently increased to enhanced Daily living from Standard rate. I filled in a change of circumstance form review and the decision was made within 2 weeks π³ without a f2f. (I did send in lots of evidence). Having been awarded previously I am aware of the standard letters they send out detailing the award, dates and back payments. However this time it says we will write to you separately about any money we owe you.
Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks in advance, Holls X

Most likely regarding the difference they owe you from the standard to Enhanced. Best wishes.

jollyholly I've received a PIP letter today which says they are looking at PIP claims to see if I'm owed money -something to do with changes in PIP law that affect how PIP claims are decided -I have a series of questions relating to my claim from May 2019 to October 2023 that I need to fill out and return -no idea what this means at all-all-anyone with any idea -let me know

There have been a few court cases where the claimant has won, meaning the Government had to tweak some descriptors.
The DWP contact those they think need their awards looking at again (this would generally be to see if they are eligible to be awarded more points).

Thanks :)
However previously on my other award letters it says the amount of backdate owed. I don't understand why they're sending a separate letter and I'm yet to receive any backdate which I believe is usually paid shortly after the decision and before the award letter arrives x

Thanks Kimmy87 -Yes I'm sure that's what it is -I can hardly remember what I had for tea last night let alone 2019 to 2023 βit says my reward won't decrease because of this-just to check if I'm owed any money
