Hi @Amputation, welcome to the community. I hope your wife is recovering okay after her amputation. Has she been offered any help from NHS services after her operation? They may be the best people to ask about what's available.
Finding Your Feet is a charity for amputees that mostly covers Scotland. That may not suit you, but they have a grants page that mentions that you can apply for something called 'Exceptional Treatment' to provide funding for private prosthetics if your needs aren't being met by your local provider. There's a few other grants and charities on there that you and your wife might find useful:
Grants & Bursaries - Finding your Feet
There's also the Limbless Association and the Amputation Foundation who might have some further information and support.
Our members might have some ideas to share too. Hope you can find something soon 😊
