Pip review

Hi recently sent my pip review form. If they reduce my award and I appeal could it go either way like increase or stopped completely? Just wondering should I just except the decrease? Rather get some than nothing at all

Hi @neil12345 an appeal can go either way unfortunately, but it tends to go in the applicants favour with a 70% success rate. As it can take a fair while to get reviews done, I'd try and put it out of your mind for now, you could be looking at a wait of up to a year.

Hi last time I was reassessed they reduced my mobility component.
I did a MR and got the same decision so I applied for a tribunal hearing.
It was a massive gambl because I might have lost my entire award but they rang and made me an offer before it went to tribunal and I got my high rate mobility back.
For me it was worth it because the difference between standard rate and high rate is quite a lot of money to lose.
