Save The Change Schemes

Thank you in advance for any help with the following..I have been using my banks Save The Change scheme for many yrs now and it's accrued a rather large sum.

Do I have to declare it as savings or income?I thought as it's already my savings,I shouldn't have to?

If any of your ESA is Income Related, you need to declare any capital over £6000.
