Discriminated against disability

Me and my husband received messages yesterday (Wednesday) that we will have a meeting on Saturday by phone at 10am for him and then 11am for me. I replied quickly that I ask these meetings to be moved onto during the week days and nursery hours as on Saturday our son is with us and we wont be able to make a conversation due to our disabilities with him running around, being noisy and distracting. I had a reply same day: "The interviews will be separate, so you will be interviewed and then Maria . This would hopefully give you the opportunity for one of you to concentrate on the little one during the interview. Please note that failure to attend the interview may affect your benefit." I was shocked. Suggesting that my bedbound husband is able to take care of our child is a blatant ablism. So I explained again in my reply that this is impossible because first of all my husband isn't mentally or physically able to care for anyone and I, due to my autism, suffer from auditory processing difficulties and need to be able to focus, which of course I cant do with a 4yo running and screaming. That message was left unanswered. Wednesday passed, Thursday passed and tomorrow if there will be no reply what should I do on Saturday when the time of phone calls come? If we don't pick up we will be sanctioned but I seriously can't have this conversation on Saturday with my son around. Should I not pick up then? I feel so discriminated against mine and my husband disabilities. How they can do this to us? They know about our disabilities. I am shocked at how we were treated.
