hello I am confused with the changes to pip, on social media I am reading conflicting information, have the proposed changes gone through ?

    Hi mae, no nothing is set in stone until november 2026 if at all the proposes will get through?

    There will be no changes this year from what iv'e read & listened too, but who's to say that they won't bring them forward is any one's guess, but at the moment the green paper still has to be passed in parliament & then hope & pray it will be in the high courts hand if it gets that far, but at he moment it is only what the labour party are proposing to do with the welfare/disability cuts if i'm correct, but type in google (when will the pip cuts be implemented) this is what i have just done & it states:

    November 2026

    This change, set to be implemented from November 2026, aims to target PIP at those with "higher needs" according to the government. The mobility component of PIP remains unchanged.

    But read on when you see the page. Hope this helps…

    thank you for the replies. My anxiety is through the roof as I’m sure many others is with the worry of the proposed changes.

    Can only hope this doesn’t get passed 🙏
