ESA Change of Circumstances

I'm new here and hope someone can help me with advice.

Im receiving contributory ESA and have been since 2007. I was claiming for depression and anxiety and also for bladder incontinence (From Birth)

In 2018 Due to a stage 3 cancer diagnosis I had to undergo a complete bladder removal and various other bits and pieces.

The operation left me with nerve damage to my leg and also aggravated a bowel incontinence that Ive also had since birth. During the operation I had a uninary stoma fitted. I rang the DWP to let them know I was changing address to move in with My girlfriend as I couldnt cope alone anymore and said I'd had cancer and an operation for it. Recently Ive been second guessing myself and although my girlfriend is sure I told them about the stoma, I honestly dont remember if I definitely did.

I fully expected to be sent for reassessment but wasnt , although I did receive a letter confirming the address change and they actually asked if i wanted them to look into whether I shoiuld have been getting more benefits before I moved.

I declined as I really didnt need anymore hassle at the time and was in a really bad place. My stoma bag leaks at least twice a week and I lose control of my bowel functions also at least 2-3 times a week every damn week.

At the moment I cannot eat or sleep for worrying, I spend half the time just crying out of worrying. I still suffer from Depression and anxiety quite badly.

I do intend to start work and get off benefits this year anyway and become self employed with the help of a friend.

What on earth should I do?

How much trouble am I in?

I have also I admit been having some pretty dark thoughts.

Can someone please Help me?

Please?

As you are in the Support Group for ESA, this is the highest award you can get, so there is no need to update them about your health or worry because you haven't.

As previously advised there is no point in contacting ESA if you are in the Support Group.

Thank you for your replies, it puts my mind ast rest somewhat. I was concerned as the bladder incontinence was part of the reason I was in the support group and then I had to have it removed. However the op has left me with partial bowel incontinence and a stoma bag that leaks quite regularly. Hence I still qualify but the reasons have changed somewhat.
