PIP MR (mandatory reconsideration) backpay

I put in for a MR on 25th January, was receiving standard from beginning of 2024 but submitted change of circumstance in sept 2024 and was awarded enhanced in Jan 2025, but for some reason they only awarded me from December rather than from when I submitted the change so I missed out on a substantial amount of backpay.

I didn’t put in for a MR on my original award when I received standard even though I believe I was entitled to enhanced due to the stress and how much I was struggling with my pain and illness and only got round to submitting my change in sept after being in hospital again.

If they are working through MRs from 20th Jan (was told today) when should I expect to hear back from them? All I wanted was my start date/backpay entitlement to be looked at again. All my evidence shows I’ve struggled since march 2024 and I submitted the change in September.
