Daughter rang pip

My daughter rang pip on my behalf and spoke to someone that actually makes decisions on assessments. The woman stated that because they have no medical evidence of my condition or the medication I take or the dosage i take,or the xrays or ct scans I've had.She said I won at tribunal because I took it that far.I really don't get it.

Sounds really odd . Or was she saying you only won cos it went to tribunal?

Hi @Popdiva43, that sounds a bit strange. If you won at tribunal it's because the tribunal judges believed you were entitled to PIP for your conditions based on all the evidence you gave in your claim, not just because you fought the decision to that level.
Have you received your award letter yet?

They saying I only won because I went to tribunal.

I think the best way to look at this is that you took it to tribunal and got what you are rightfully entitled to.
But your pip application form was not filled in very well in relation to the descriptors and, based on your pip form alone, they were right not to award.
This is no reflection on you - that pip form is not an easy one to do at all and many people who score zero across the board on that do go on to get awarded at tribunal.
Obviously it sounds like whoever your daughter has spoken to was a bit dismissive on the phone but her opinion is of no importance now. You won. That's what matters.

They quote medical evidence and yet they ask you not list medications in pip as it's not about how much pain you have
