Paper based

I have just had a text after 8 months of waiting saying my review is complete I have not had an assessment so it must be paper based is this usually a good outcome I don’t know if it is a bad thing as I have not my say or a good thing

My assessment was paper based. I was awarded enhanced rate for both components for an indefinite period. I recommend you request a copy of the assessor's report to compare with the DM's award letter.

If the decision was paper-based solely by the DM, there would be no assessor's report.

Hi @stephen6405, it's not necessarily a good or a bad thing. Sometimes it's just that they feel they have enough information on your claim to make a decision without talking to you. But I hope the result is a good one!

@stephen6405 phone the DWP PIP phone line not the assessment provider an ask for the form PA3 as it was all done paper based, you are entitled to it. Good luck.
