Do you know any good social activity clubs?

I'm looking for good ways to get involved with activities so I have more to do and to enjoy. I currently attend Andy's Man Club, of which there are over 200 in the UK, and I highly recommend AMC to any man who needs to get something off their chest for mental health's sake. Anyway, I want to find more good social opportunities, and was wondering if anybody knows about any that I could follow up on.

Meetup.com is a good way to meet others locally for social activities.

I imagine Andy's Men Club must be like Men's Shed?
It was my plan to go to my local Men's Shed, but it is up two flights of stairs!

I understand that many people who have never been to Andy's Man Club will say it's like Men's shed, but there are important differences:
- It's a charity for men who struggle with their mental health.
- It's usually in a big group and it's always accommodating, non-judgmental and friendly.
- There is no physical or practical activities involved-it's all about talking.
- Everyone gets the chance to talk and the setting isn't mired in interruption.
- It's on every week on Monday's from 7pm-9pm.

If you're into tabletop gaming, I know of a few local games groups that are always looking for more people to get involved? I'm not far from Southampton, so I know them fairly well.
