missing mandatory reconsideration reply date

HI, does anyone know.. that reply deadline can be missed due to sick note issue by GP.
My deadline to reply as i do not agree with DWP and will ask for mandatory reconsideration is 19 APril .
However, from 10 april to 10 july i have a FIT NOTE FOR GP. dues this allow me to miss the deadline, pls

What benefit is the Mandatory Reconsideration for?

You have 13 months to ask for an MR.
After a month you have to give a reason as to why you are asking "late".
I'm not sure whether having a Fit Note would be a valid reason.

PIP. i apllied, reply negative, no have to reply to them and ask for MAndatory r… until 19 April… but will not be able .. i have NOT FIT NOTE UNTIL JULY 2025.. COULD THI SBE A VALID REASON NOT TO HAVE PRESENTED REQUEST TO MANDATORY RE IN REQUIRED TIMEFRAME. THANK U

NO .. applied for pip in january 2025, award denied… i have to repond until 19 april as DWP reply came 24 April., bet dated 19 MArch. ON;LY A MONTH WAS GIVEN TO OBJECT

A month is the standard time frame.
You actually have an additional 12 months after that, but you will need to give a reason why you are requesting the MR "late".
