Am I alone??

Hello everyone
At the time of writing this I honestly feel that I have come to the right decision.
I have until 30th April to apply for UC for housing benefit, however, I truly feel that we should just go for broke and not bother and pay all of the rent ourselves. I am a full time carer who just wants to look after their loved one and not have to worry about computers and job centres and ID and bank statements. I am feeling totally overwhelmed by it all. I have no family close by, we have spent the last 3 years trying to get moved nearer to family, with no luck. Just writing this message has taken me forever!! I have never been a negative person, but I now feel that negativity is taking me over!!
Sorry to sound so miserable, just needed to vent to someone!
Thanks for reading.

Hi don’t know much about it but as a carer of someone on
Pip you will be basically left alone after the initial set up of an account . Don’t not claim what you’re entitled too .

Thank you for reading. That's exactly what I am thinking. Just don't bother. It seems the whole application process is set up to make us look like beggars and criminals, and I am neither of these. Life is for living and as I don't know how much longer be will be alive I don't want him to be dragged into a job centre and be put through demeaning interviews.

I really can't cope with the whole process of it, but thank you anyway.
