Understanding LCWRA

HI

I'm looking for help understanding Lcwra as I was awarded this on the 9th April 2025 in the letter it stated there will be extra money. From what I've read this is only the way if you submitted fit notes. Before I was on LCW so I hadn't been handing in fit notes since before that. Which was late 2022. I'm sorry for the confusing post I just wondered where I stood as UC and my work coach are no help.

    Did the DWP send you a review form out of the blue?

    If so, the LCWRA decision first applies to the Assessment Period in which the decision was made.

    Once the DWP have processed the decision, you will receive the LCWRA element each month in your payment. This is currently £423.27.

    The Fit Notes issue refers to eligibility for backpay while awaiting the Work Capability Assessment.
