My courageous decision to go to my 10 year high school reunion

My courageous decision to go to my 10 year high school reunion was brave. I was nervous thinking my classmates I graduated with would see me differently seeing my left prosthetic leg and was going to back off not going. Luckily a couple of my good friends I graduated with were right, face my fears being brave. I went and none did not see me differently. Instead, they asked me how lost my lower left leg in the right way thanking me for my military service. A couple teachers I had, seen it and asked me what it was like at first. Told them I was in the dumps at first and got over that. They saw a huge positive change in me too, told them I am still proud to this day to enlist in the US Marines with no regrets. Saw me as a student that was hanging in the wrong crowd to becoming a better person in life
