Pip doesn't effect your uc in anyway

Ta husband thinks now both pip and care allowance has gone up we won't get universal credit

I'm confident PIP won't affect UC, they're paid for different reasons.
The government says: "Your Universal Credit payment will be reduced by an amount equal to your Carer’s Allowance payment."
That suggests to me your UC may be further decreased by the increase in Carer's allowance but I doubt it'll stop it altogether.
I suggest you ask a CAB or similar organisation.
Good luck.
