Backpay

Hi now I know yous said I wouldn't get backpay I was rewarded lcwra after 15 months of waiting for my wca but I phoned dwp and she said would get it from march 22 but got told today no backpay am I wasting my time asking for an appeal

As previously advised, because the DWP started the review you are not entitled to backpay when going from LCW to LCWRA.
You are first eligible for LCWRA payment in the Assessment Period in which the decision was made.
There is nothing to appeal because those are the UC rules being applied correctly.

Oh OK thank you I just can't figure it outbecause people are saying they have had it and even lady on phone said yesterday I would get it because its took so long I think it's awful the way they just don't explain anything
