ReDiscovering Uber
I used Uber several times during my trip in London last week - and noticed it has added catagories.. Including Uber Access and Uber Assist - https://www.uber.com/gb/en/ride/uberwav/
While I still can't fathom Ubers booking system, it seems pre booked = insane prices but on the spot bookings beats most, I found them very reasonable, reliable & cheap for the 4 or 5 trips I needed to make for medical appointments when visiting London
Available in quite a few of the bigger cities, but not smaller towns yet..
What are peoples thoughts, do you use Uber to get around?

We've had Uber since September and it's been really positive.
They don't do pre booked school runs, so unlike the local cabs who all disappear during those times, Uber are usually available. Suddenly being able to get a taxi at peak times is brilliant.
I like seeing the final fare before I commit to booking.
Uber usually aren't cheaper here than local firms. I do often get discount codes added to my account though.
I travelled to & stayed in two other areas that had plentiful Uber drivers so using the one app wherever I was has been very convenient. In certain situations it was good meaning I didn't have to carry money or a bank card, just my phone with the app.
