My quote this year from Mark Bates is over £300. This is for insurance, plus breakdown/repairs etc.

Do any of you have an companies to recommend?

Thanks for the link, but i am suspicious of why the quote received, is less than half the annual cost Mark Bates are asking for.

I shall call both companies tomorrow, see what they have to say. Thanks again.

Hi @Ranald, Personal recommendations, no affiliation, we and self employed carers have happily used surewise for both scooters and care insurance for several years.

We discovered Mark Bates affiliates with many mobility scooter companies and pays a kickback for the endorsements, and then charges much more to clients.

I don't pay £300 for car insurance! I wonder what the average is for scooter insurance?

That price iincludes repairs, recovery etc, but is still dear!
