Universal credit housing element

I wander if someone could offer any advice please, I had my first UC statement through and there is no housing on there, I go work part time as I’m a carer for my daughter.
They said the rent amounts didn’t match I think due to the April increase and they sent it off for confirmation but it wasn’t done in time.
Does anyone know what will happen next please or any advice around be gratefully appreciated

Once the rent amount has been confirmed behind the scenes, a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount you were underpaid on your previous statement.
The money will then be sent and arrive into your bank account within a few working days.

hi kimi87
thank you very much for your help it’s appreciated, no one explains and I asked in my journal and it’s been ignored so I gave up waiting0 -
How much support can you get towards housing? and what circumstances do you need to be in to qualify for it? If I wanted to move out of my parents for example, as I'm autistic and need space and struggling to share a space with lots of people, would this be considered?

If you were able to get a social housing property then your whole rent for a one bedroom home would be paid.
If you rented privately then the LHA rates apply. If over 35, or under 35 on PIP you can get the one bedroom rate.
LHA rates often don't pay the whole amount so you'd need to top it up from your other income.
