New rates of UC

My son received his UC payment yesterday and it is the same amount he has been receiving for a while. Since the rates went up on April 6th, shouldn't the rise have been included in his payment?
His payment period covers March 28th to April 27th.

It has to be a full assessment period after the rise to get the increased rate.
He will first get it for his April 28 to May 27th AP, paid in June.
He still gets 12 payments at the increased rate, he just has to wait longer for it to start, as I do with an AP of 26th - 25th.

Thanks. Yet another way they can diddle us out of money. No wonder they wanted to swap us from weekly to monthly payments.

It's not diddling me or him out of money. Everyone gets 12 payments at the higher rate, some like us just have to wait longer for them to start.
It's actually a pet hate of mine when it comes to UC, but as I advised everyone still gets 12 payments at the higher rate.
