New diagnosis

Hi my husband has been on pip for 20 plus years high care low mobility due to a bad car accident learning to walk again after being told he wouldnt, he suffers on a daily basis and recently been diagnosed with young onset dementia, do i let pip know this , his doctors have said he will never get better just worry after reading all the horror stories as we have enough to deal with, his reward still has 3 years left before review, mamy thanks

Hi,
There's no need to report this to PIP.
If his mobility has deteriorated to the point that you think he could now be awarded Enhanced rate Mobility instead of Standard rate then you could choose to inform them. But that will trigger an early review, so probably not worth the stress in this case.
