Wham! Pow! It's Free Comic Book Day!
Hands up if you like comics?
Hands up if you like free things?
If you have both hands up, then I'm sure you'll love today.
Free Comic Book Day has been running for a few years and is now a much loved day by many nerds around the world. This year there's a whopping 46 titles that are up for grabs from your local comic book shop.
There's a bit of everything available too, from Diablo IV comics, to crossovers featuring Thundercats and The Powerpuff girls! Many are one off comics, so you don't need to be a lifelong collector to enjoy them, even the comic curious can find something to brighten their day. π
Forbidden Planet are always keen to get involved, so find your local store and go grab yourself something pretty to read.
Personally, if I manage to leave the house with someone, I'll be trying to get a hold of "TRANSFORMERS: WORST BOT EVER" where they introduce the new Decepticon, Ballpoint. Who unfortunately can only transform into a ballpoint pen. It sounds very silly.

I haven't read a comic for over 50 years - the last one that I read was "Buster and Jet" in about 1975 !!
