Made Application

Hello,
I have just submitted my UC application. They say they will call me in next 2 to 3 days. It said I must accept my claimant commitment in to do list I agreed but it still shows as unfinished is this because they will call me and do this on phone? I am worried I haven't done it right please help Thanks. I got an email saying if I don't consent to Claiment commitment in to do list they can't pay me and I won't be entitled to UC what does this mean. I consented but is still outstanding will they do this when they phone me to book an appointment? I went into to do list it now just says we will call you so is that it. So confused.

Hi @Silver925
It’s normal for the claimant commitment to show as “unfinished” if you’re waiting for your phone call. They’ll confirm everything during the call, and it should update after that.
I know its easier said than done, but please not try to worry. You’ve consented and it will be sorted when they contact you☺️0 -
You will be contacted via Journal message with an appointment if needed.
There is an issue with that message staying on some Journals- was suggested to be a hangover of the pandemic when all staff were working from home.
I myself claimed UC over three years ago, verified my ID in person, commitments confirmed but that message is still on my account.

I looked on my account later and further up the journal it had been confirmed. I left a message and someone got back to me this morning. I wasn't looking at it right as I was stressed and missed it. I managed later to verify my ID online so that is now done to. I should get my first statement on 3rd June and paid on 7th June. Thank You for your help.

That's good news @Silver925. Good way to begin the Bank Holiday weekend! ☺️
