    Hi,

You should get LCWRA included with your next UC payment which should be around the 24th of this month?

If you do get it this month then I estimate 3 months worth of backpay to be paid separately. That could take a couple of weeks to arrive. That would be approximately £1250.

However, if you had Transitional Protection, or something like Carers Element which gets superseded by LCWRA then the backpay amount could be lower.

Even though you've received the decision, UC need time to process everything.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your award. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

The start of your waiting period as 18 October relies on Fit Notes being provided with no gaps, none that were backdated etc. It's the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.

Any backpay is calculated separately and usually takes at least a few weeks.

You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal, stating the amount owed. Payment will be received within a few working days.

If LCWRA isn't added to your statement this month, then hopefully by next month it will appear.
