Receiving LCWRA but Should I still get it

Hi
2003/24 I was receiving treatment for cancer, I went back to work and notified UC I was going back phased return and then again when I went back full time. I am still receiving payments although I no longer have cancer (told them this also) but still have fatigue, mental health and anxiety. I have asked them more than once should I still be receiving this and they tell me yes. I was due for a review but they have been on hold since September 2024 they said. Im worried they are going to ask for monies back even though I have kept them up to date on my health. What should I do?

Hi @Lis21, welcome to the community and I'm glad to hear you're cancer free now. If you are still struggling with your health, you may still be entitled to LCWRA. But as they say, there's lots of delays in the review system at the moment so it's difficult to get one sorted.
It sounds like you have done everything right to try and notify them of your changes so you'd be in a good place to challenge them if they did question it.
Would you still need any financial help from UC if your LCWRA payments were stopped? By that I mean help with your housing costs or from receiving the standard UC allowances outside of the health elements. If not, it may be an option just to close your claim if you no longer need any support from them.
