A health professional is looking at your case. The health professional may contact you to arrange an assessment as it is called. That is all the text is saying. The assessments are common. If you are asked to take part in one, you will be asked questions on how your disability affects you, have notes with you as reminders.
If you get asked to take part in an assessment, post again, as mine were face to face, so a bit different!

Hi John, yes that will be a phone assessment. My face to face assessments went OK, I am going back a few years and they sent a nurse to your house.
I have never had a phone assessment, some that do record it or have it recorded. This is so you can revisit the assessment. You will be nervous and that can make you forgetful, but keep calm and have notes to remind you of what you wrote about your disability for each descriptor and how you are affected daily. Do you have a copy of your original form you sent in as that will help too!
Please read other threads about assessments on this forum so you will have an idea.
Hopefully other members with experience of a phone assessment will reply, that will be good!
