In order to advise more information is needed.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

What date did you report the health condition?

Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc? It's the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.

Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA, or have Transitional Protection on your claim?

Finally what is your UC assessment period or payment date?

    thank your reply

I reported my health condition on 22nd November 2024 and provided for notes from 20th November - 17th December (UC received it 3rd December)

    Then 18th December - 19th March 2025 (UC received it 20th December)

Then again 20th March - 11th June 2025 (UC received it 20th March)

Single claim, I do have TP from migrating to UC from JSA

I am paid UC on 26th of each month

Because you have a gap in your Fit Notes I wouldn't be confident advising any further about a timeline, other than asking UC when they are counting as your Relevant Period (another term for the waiting period).

Your Transitional Protection will reduce by the LCWRA amount which is currently £423.27. It was previously £416.19.

I meant to ask.. On my journal it says I’m awarded it and that they’ve been asked to review me again in the future but there isn’t a date that I can see is that normal?.. Also my TP was for JSA and Disability premium (the most basic one) will I still have it removed I thought I was allowed to still be protected with the Disability premium?
    thanks

Yes that's normal they don't publish the review dates. LCWRA is not like PIP anyway with a fixed end date and reviews have been suspended for the majority anyway for several years now meaning backlogs within the system.

When you were awarded UC you got Transitional Protection to ensure you weren't worse off at the time of transfer.

TP erodes over time as the rates go up or new elements are awarded. It doesn't matter why you got TP.
